V-Day Petaluma is a fully volunteer-driven series of events to raise awareness and end violence against woment and girls. From cast members, to producers, directors, technical crew, sponsor solicitors, counselors, photographers and so much more. Understanding the diverse background of all involved, we seek to promote a safe environment for all to participate. We look to involve all who are interested in participating.
From 2008 to 2011 proceeds were donated to not-for-profits who work to raise awareness and end violence against women and girls including YWCA, Verity (formerly UASA), BRAVE People, and PPC Girls Circle Program. Since then, V-Day Petaluma has been hosted by and benefits Guided To Safety.
